Antonio Bove – Chef & Owner, Uva Rossa Wine Bar

Born in Maddaloni, Italy, Antonio Bove grew up on a farm, learning the value of fresh ingredients and the joy of cooking alongside his Nonna. By age 20, he was running his own mozzarella and cheese business, driven by a lifelong passion for food.

In 1994, Antonio brought his dream to the United States, starting in a local deli and quickly learning the ins and outs of the American food industry. In 2001, he opened his first Italian deli in Malverne, NY, and in 2013, he fulfilled his ultimate vision with Uva Rossa Wine Bar, where every dish reflects the flavors, memories, and love of his Italian roots.

Today, Antonio Bove stands as a testament to the power of dedication, authenticity, and the enduring influence of family. Through his food, he not only honors his roots but also shares a piece of his Italian heritage with every guest who walks through the doors of Uva Rossa.
